  Good morning,my good people of Asa the oil rich Niger delta far and near,I want to bring it to the notice of Abians, Nigeria and the world at large, that Asa people of the oil rich Niger delta has over the years maintained a tradition of peace between themselves,oil companies,state and federal government,because where there’s peace, growth and development thrives,it is so saddening how this serene atmosphere and peace culture of ours has only favored oil exploration…
  Asa folks(youths)clamor for royalties from oil companies yet nothing is done,but a form of gratification that does not bring development to us as youths and graduates will be done.it has made less productive.sustainable growth and development happen when the energy levels of the youths are properly harnessed and channeled….at this point in time,the politicians and those in authority need to consider,how we can encourage able bodied youths to lead for all-round development through skill acquisition,entrepreneurship and agropreneurship,the recession could be for us a resection,we can be more than just an oil producing area,Asa youths needs full sponsorship and supports from the Authorities,to recall, in 2010 we saw how some youths of our land were involved in the ugly deed of kidnapping which did not only displace people and affect economic activities but also dented to a great extent the name and integrity of our people and land,in a recessed economy like ours, there is always a thin line between crime and dignity of labour.Hence,the need for re-orienting the youths as to avoid the repetition of the recent past misdeeds.our young men(youths) and graduates need to be supported or sponsored, and it will awaken the man within,so they can see opportunities to amidst the hard times,the youths of ukwa west (Asa) is it necessary we rob the youths of any reason not to be productive?,I believe if the objectives of this event,skill,or opportunity are met,the youths will be ready for exploits, please I want to use medium to call on local,state and federal government to treat us like other Niger delta communities in Nigeria..I want to make a common sense.
